Bandit saga

Chapter 1: "The finding and the thieving"

Veyyin Ayyin was a regular, 21 year old, college student who lived on the planet Coenden. He had black hair with greyish green eyes and his overprotective mother was forcing him to live at home with her.

One day, Veyyin was walking home from the university when he found an odd shaped thing on the ground. little did he know that it would change his life for ever.

"Huh?" Veyyin said to himself as he examined the object he had found. It was made of something Veyyin had never seen before. It was a flat round thing with a perfectly round stone in the middle. It had a diameter of about 1 and 1/2 inches.
"Maybe Prof. Roy would know what it was," Veyyin said to himself as he started heading towards his friend
Prof. Roy's house. Veyyin walked a little ways but was then stopped by 10 men. They were all drest in black
with their faces hidden by masks.
"Whats in the bag?" one of the men said mischeiviously.
"Why do you care?" Veyyin replied, "Is it any of your buisness?"
"It is now!" the man replied as the 10 men attacked Veyyin and started punching him. They threw him to
the ground and kicked him. Then they spit on him, took his back pack, and ran. They did this all for a
back pack with nothing but school papers in it.
"Damn!" Veyyin yelled after the men, "That's my homework! Get back here!" Veyyin was sick from the
blows he recieved in the stomach and caughed up blood. He finaley stumbled his way to Prof. Roy's
house and there Prof. Roy came to meet him at the door.\
"You don't look well Veyyin." Prof. Roy said, "What happened to you?"
"I was mugged by a bunch of guy's." Veyyin moaned as he layed down on Prof. Roys couch. Prof. Roy's
house was basicly a science lab/invention center with a couch, some kitchen appliances and a bed. Prof.
Roy and Veyyin had known each other since Prof. Roy had saved Veyyin's life when Veyyin was 14 years
old.
"So did these people have black clothes and masks?" Prof. Roy asked.
"Yeah." Veyyin replied.
"I knew it!" said Prof. Roy, "I saw them run off with my very expensive piece of equipment the other day.
I paid alot for that Channeronic Examiner!"
"I'll get it back!" said Veyyin, suddenly feeling a little better, " I'll teach those stupid bandits a lesson! I'll..."
"No you won't" Prof. Roy ordered, "You wouldn't stand a chance. They out number you. Now what did
you want to see me about?"
"Oh yeah! I found something." Veyyin said handing the object he had found to Prof. Roy, "I wondered if
you knew what it was." Prof. Roy examined the object intently.
Finaley he said "I have never seen anything like it before Veyyin. If you'd like, I can do some research and
find out what I can about it."
"Ok, thanks!" Veyyin said.
"That's what friends are for." Prof. Roy exclaimed, "Although I could find out alot more if those bandits
would not have stolen my Channeronic Examiner."
"Realy! I'll go get it back then! After all, that's what friends are for!" Veyyin said as he went out the door
of the house.
"Veyyin are you crazy! You'll kill yourself!" Prof. Roy yelled after him. It was too late; Veyyin was already
on his way, driven by his anger towards the bandits and the thirst for revenge.
